We were briefed to find a new venue for our client’s annual EMEA residential conference, part of their global series.
It was essential to find a venue which was accessible from all countries and major transport hubs, as the delegates would be travelling from all over the globe. It was also really important to find a balance of a venue which was functional, contemporary and even a little luxurious; a venue with space for well over 300 delegates to attend presentations, great space for exhibitions and plenty of networking areas.
Excellent technology was also a huge consideration for our client, as they wanted to use app technology for their delegates and have system demos throughout the conference.
After working through their brief, we were able to provide a shortlist, and found the venue which we believed was perfect for this; location – tick, style of venue – tick, budget – tick, and our client agreed. We love it when a plan comes together.
We handled all of the communications through an enquiry process, which included negotiating costs to keep within a strict budget, working through the detailed requirements for event space and all the bedroom allocations, as well as ensuring suitable catering spaces – whilst working to international time differences.
Once we all agreed on the ideal venue, we arranged a site inspection for our client, we are adamant that there is really nothing that comes close to seeing a venue if you can. Our client loved it – the perfect option for their conference
